☄ First Impressions

♚ VISUAL: Young Johnny Cash. Yes, that is literally how he's been described by his author. He's tall and pretty handsome, considering how many girls fall for him.
♚ FASHION: Very casual clothes, good for traveling the mountains.
♚ DEMEANOUR: John has a generally friendly and cheerful demeanor, although he gets stern/disapproving around practitioners of dark magic and women who try to seduce him.
♚ SOUND: He's got a mountain man's accent, Appalachian mountains to be exact.
♚ SCENT: Like the wilderness, although he does try to keep himself clean.
♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: He doesn't have any defenses by default, although he knows charms and the like for blocking those.
♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: He has some magical ability that might be able to be sensed, but usually has to channel it through his music or certain charms.

☄ OOC

♚ BACKTAGGING: I will backtag as long as you want to finish threads. I might focus on AC-length threads for a murdergame, though.
♚ FOURTHWALLING: Go ahead if your character has some reason to pick up his somewhat obscure stories. He might assume you've heard about him through gossip.
♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: He'll be uncomfortable about anything beyond friendly shoulder-claps or arm-grabs from guys, and anything lingering from girls. Younger people might be able to get away with a bit more hugging though. I'm cool with people attempting either way though!
♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: John was in the Korean War, so he's not that bad in a physical fight. Feel free to try and go for him.
♚ RELATIONSHIPS: He's married, and not really open to flirting even though he'll have forgotten about Evadare at the beginning of the game.

☄ Permissions

♚ SEXISM: John can be somewhat sexist about women who dress/act provocatively. He isn't likely to use slurs, but he will be likely to disapprove of them and possibly misconstrue their intentions. Let me know if you'd like me to tone it down when he's talking to your character.
♚ OLD-FASHIONED: I'm not really comfortable with writing old-fashioned racism/homophobia, so I'm not going to play John that way, since technically none of that shows up in the original stories anyways. The most he's going to do is probably just use insensitive wording. Still, let me know if you want me to tone it down.
♚ RELIGION: John talks about the Bible a lot, and most likely identifies as Christian. Let me know if that kind of talk makes you uncomfortable.
